CRM and automations
Contacts, lists, mail, and workflows that Rabun executes.
Burton includes a practical CRM next to the wiki. Talk to people. Keep the record in the workspace.
- Contacts — search, notes, VCF or Markdown import
- Organizations — directory used by time sheets, invoices, and contacts
- Lists — named groups with membership you control
- Mail — local mailbox or IMAP/SMTP, compose to contacts and lists
- Postcards — physical-style cards to addresses and lists, with a scheduled send date
- Chat — local rooms or a Matrix homeserver
- Conversations — AI-summarized threads as git-versioned markdown, keyed by contact
- Messages — SMS outbox in Burton Postgres; rabun-sms talks to Twilio. Burton never stores Twilio tokens.
Automations
The Automations plugin is a canvas of triggers, waits, and messages. Workflows are YAML (burton.workflow/v1): draft, finalize, then a live version.
Burton authors the workflow. Rabun executes it (CDC through Postgres publications). If you disable a plugin, those steps are skipped rather than failed.
